And I am not just saying that. I think you do a very good job of drawing attention to the stultifying effect of human intellectual sheepishness that has brought progress in many scientific disciplines to a halt. Unfortunately we live during times when science is dominated by the lowest common denominator. The only real complaint I have is that the scientific disciplines that you discuss mostly has to do with subjects that I think have been overdone. I mean, do we really need more discussion of Tesla and Velovsky? I don't think so. I find that boring. I think you should focus on scientific disciplines that have been maligned by common stupidity going back hundreds of years, like meteorology and the study of H2O. I think you should look into a guy that lines in the 1840s whose last name is Espy. Scientifically this guy was a complete hack. Yet he is considered to be the father of meteorology and many of his "principles" are still believed (though not really applied) currently. Mostly his thinking is used as kind of marketing or propaganda to draw attention away from the fact that meteorology has completely blundered our understanding of storms and atmospheric flow. Whatever the case, I will be recommending your book to others. It is well written, extremely topical and relevant, and it serves as an excellent counter to the explosion of stupidity made possible by the internet. Great job! James McGinn Solving Tornadoes
