Also the cost of just installing the pannels exceeds the cost of the pannels making payback time over 10 years. Additionally, Solar panels will have to be replaced every 30 years. (US Gov says that) Making solar panels requires very toxic materials, and huge amounts of water. The amount of cost put into the panel will never be recovered by the electricity it generates. Pannels are more efficient when put into large fields and track sun, where installation costs are minimized.
