I wonder why "many people" confuse that? Oh wait! I know! It's because every day after every day each and every media outlet, Radio,TV, Newspapers, Magaqzines, social media, even dying old Usenet posts are bombarded over and over and over and over and over and over with the lie that Global warming is causing all extreme things that are observed. It causes record hot days, it causes record cold days, it causes record snow, it causes record Ice, it causes all the ice on earth to melt, it causes wildfires. It causes flooding and landslides, in short if you won't accept a huge energy tax at once before the "tipping" point is reached, all life on this planet is doomed. It's really as simple an explanation as that.

I did not dwell on such topics, even if mathematicians considered them vital. I read about some painter, obsessed with the number pi=\pi=π, painting paintings of the digits of π. Of course, he had to work with a lot of canvases. His twist was that as deeper he got into the digits/s(y)mbols of said π, the color of the paints would fade. In the end he'd have a blank canvas. As I recall, he was painting using decimal system symbols, not like binary. > >>>>> Temperatures are forecast to inch up to a daytime high of about minus 14 > >>>>> on Wednesday — the first subzero high temperature in five years and the > >>>>> coldest winter high ever recorded in Chicago — before dipping, again, to > >>>>> about minus 21 overnight. When written with quotes, a whole "2" days. I certainly don't know much of "2" with all its mathematical significance. I've been called many various things, but no mathematician I. Binary math is 2 characters/digits/symbols. First the 0, the last the 1. Yet any 0=S 1=W symbols will do. Just one ought not make typing errors, typos, while SW coding. SWSWSWWSSSWSWWWWHSWSWSWWSSS... Ask anyone here! Change is just one such weseal word. Somewhere you said something about the poor and homeless in DC. Yes, I've seen them. In NTC, in Philadelphia, ..., in India. One time, back in DC, while headed home from work, I was taking the escalator down to the metro trains. At the bottom, sat a man with a sign, handwrit on brown cardboard, with a catchy phrase: THROW CHANGE AT ME. > >>> -- Mahipal == माहिपाल "My Pal" or "Maple" Loops, S(y)rup, Wood. I live in Chicago for a while, flipping cold!! Snow still on the ground in late April. I was going to do a GoFundME to stop climate change, but there are 2,927 already there! what a bunch of money grubbing A-holes! Oh, wait... https://www.gofundme.com/mvc.php?route=homepage_norma/search&term=climate%20change

Wind off the lake flipping nasty! Still much more fun place than Detroit. Chicago dinosaur in the museum is maximum kool. So much better that the half-baked dinosaur in the Cleveland (where I grew up) museum. > I was going to do a GoFundME to stop climate change, but there are 2,927 > already there! what a bunch of money grubbing A-holes! Dr Harold Lewis, Nobel winner, resigned from the American Physics Society with these words ““It is of course, the global warming scam, with the (literally) trillions of dollars driving it, that has corrupted so many scientists, and has carried APS before it like a rogue wave. It is the greatest and most successful pseudoscientific fraud I have seen in my long life as a physicist.”

While I didn't leave the APS because of the climate scam (was before the invention of that) it was because of the conversion of the society from the promotion of science to become a political propaganda outfit. Promotion of pseudoscience for political purposes by organization "leadership" who pretend to speak for all members though they never poll members to actually learn their interests and views became the norm. It is the same the way magazines promoting science like the former "scientific American" just sank into pseudoscience propaganda. And as for journalists, they never were capable of understanding science and that has not changed one bit. They are nothing but pure liars today and journalism is DEAD. It's all about fooling the ignorant public. Sold-out scientists are destroying public respect for science and soon scientists will be held in the same regard by the public as lawyers and used car salesmen.
