https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alvarez_hypothesis hypothesis: a proposition made as a basis for reasoning, without any assumption of its truth. a couple of spanish kooks make a joke...and you guys fall for it. If I was a dino 66 million years agao... and with all the advance technology I had at my disposal.. how much time do I got?

Let's look closely at this noble prize winner... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luis_Walter_Alvarez "Alvarez devised a set of experiments to observe K-electron capture in radioactive nuclei, predicted by the beta decay theory but *never* observed." When you devise "a set of experiments " ..."to observe" but it is "never observed", what do you call that? KOOK! That's what Kooks do. They even get famouse for doing it.... Then..."With his son, geologist Walter Alvarez, he developed the Alvarez hypothesis which proposes that the extinction event that wiped out the dinosaurs was the result of an asteroid impact." You gotta give the kid something. His son is a Total Failure! the Alvarez hypothesis is a fuckin joke! and the yokes on Yous. > > > > > > > If I was a dino 66 million years agao... > > > > and with all the advance technology I had at my disposal.. > > > > how much time do I got? > > About 5 seconds..4..3..2..1..0...bye bye! > > -- > Mike Dworetsky > > (Remove pants sp*mbl*ck to reply) Dworetsky??? So, let's re-cap...Mike Dworetsky, that stupid motherfucker...wants you to believe, that the guy who got the noble prize came out with the idea that the extinction event that wiped out the dinosaurs was the result of an asteroid impact. But the Truth is...it was the father who got the noble prize, and his stupid son is the one who came out with the idea of the asteroid impact. Mike Dworetsky gotta be Polish, and get a noble prize for ...stupidity! Did you hear about when Mike Dworetsky locked his keys in the car? It took him 2 hours to get his family out!!!! "HEY DAD, GET US OUT HERE!!! YOU'RE SUPPOSE TO BE THE FUCKIN GENIUS!" "Listen you stupid kid, I locked my keys in the car..I gotta find a coat hanger!" the kid rolls down the car window.."Here's a coat hanger!" Mike Dworetsky says, "I don't know how to work these fuckin things..."

There is nothing "brilliant" about his idea...he is like his father, they both created 'observations' that have 'never been observed'. Which is why the question remains..."What happen to the dinosaurs?" The answer of cource is very simple...there were only a few dinosaurs then, and they went ..exitint, naturally. They simply died off... What you have is a group of people today who have no future in the dinosaur field...so they make things up! In their field, every single bird today is a dinosaur. You people need to get on with the future and stop riding aroound in horseless carriages. > > > > > Mike Dworetsky gotta be Polish, and get a noble prize for > > ...stupidity! > > > > > > Did you hear about when Mike Dworetsky locked his keys in the car? > > It took him 2 hours to get his family out!!!! > > > > > > "HEY DAD, GET US OUT HERE!!! Prizes are just things people come up with to pretend that they are still...revelant, and they are not. You can easily come up with your own webpage, offer a ten thousand dollar prize for best 'material' submitted, and give yourself the top prize. Pnal "Not poppycock at all, but good scientific reasoning. Perhaps you have 'evidence' to the contrary? " Pnal, are you a scientist? What kind? Let's check your 'scientific reasoning'. Do you honestly believe that dinosaurs could exist on Earth today?

Pnal Do you think that a planet's magnetic field is in any way an influence on its Gravity?

Pnal Do you think that the Dodo birds evolved on that island or simply lost their ability to fly on that island? Or how did they get there?

Pnal Do you think, if we somehow brought back the Pterodactyl, or the Saber Tooth Tiger, or the five bigger kinds of elephant that have gone extinct, that they could survive today? Show your work

I guess Pnal's busy. Here: http://blogs.discovermagazine.com/d-brief/2014/06/10/earths-magnetic-flips-may-triggered-mass-extinctions/#.WWTtHYXF2Ec "Research recently published in Earth and Planetary Science Letters suggests that reversals of the Earth’s magnetic field may have sparked mass extinctions in the past by stripping oxygen from the atmosphere." There are reversals every approximately 500,000 years. The last one was about 800,000 years ago. Did the Dodo just require thicker Oxygen to fly? Or breathe? Do dinosaurs require more O2?

Beside that you seem to miss the full definition, namely this part: "made as a basis for reasoning" So the hypothesis is made and then tested against the evidence. So, please, go back to third grade and learn how science actually works. ed > > > a couple of spanish kooks make a joke...and you guys fall for it. > > > > Spanish? KOOK! Numb-skull. because of a typo in wikipedia you reach exactly the wrong conclusion. that should have been "never BEFORE observed" Look Up electron capture where it says: "The theory of electron capture was first discussed by Gian-Carlo Wick in a 1934 paper, and then developed by Hideki Yukawa and others. K-electron capture was first observed by Luis Alvarez, in vanadium-48. He reported it in a 1937 paper in Physical Review.[2][3][4] Alvarez went on to study electron capture in gallium-67 and other nuclides." > > > That's what Kooks do. It took him 2 hours to get his family out. If you are going to tell such jokes, at least make it one I haven't heard before, and one that hasn't been applied to about 100 other nationalities. You are more clown than comedian obviously. Enjoy ed
