He he... very funny. I was worried that maybe women, not men, would've
come out and claimed to have actually engineered the washing machines.
I was. The old, how many light bulbs does it take to change a man?!

That may be, but the more likely scenario (since Mahipal quote from my fb page)
is that the benj types are blind to what they do not like, such as I or at
any rate my works which upset them. Nothing new about this. I was given veiled
death threats and worse since 1997, when I started posting in Usenet. The
benj types wanted to scare me off.

Usenet is still free or so I think, but then hardly anyone reads Usenet.

Internet with fb, youtube, google etc. can be easily manipulated. Views can
be arbitrarily increased or decreased, thus manufacturing popularity and the
ensuing rewards.

What works for me is that some people can read it fresh and the archives are
great as they are timed and show who wrote what when. That should help in legal
matters as and when applicable, and make things clear for future generations.

Cheers,
Arindam Banerjee

What's adorable is that, rather than investigating what your privacy
settings do (too much work, too much arcanery), you decide in your head
what is "more likely".

It's fascinating to me how people who are steadfastly avoiding some
activity they don't want to do, will manufacture "more likely" reasons
for not doing it.

You are so out of it Starfaker. Today women are just as good as the men!
There are women executives every bit as nasty as the men ("Dragon Lady"
where I used to work comes to mind) and there are women engineers
designing washing machines. Today Starfaker Women play tennis every bit
as well as the men. Wake up to modern life and modern physics (they are
sort of the same)

Women don't play against men, at least not professionally. Yes, I'm
well aware of genius John McEnroe's recent comment regards Serena Williams.
To be fair, Serena would beat the hell out of Sir Rafa Nadal! Sorry, RafaJi.

When I was young, I played tennis with this one beautiful girl. I played and
I played. In a close three set match, I let her win. Why? Simple. I just
wanted to forever watch her pla(y). Sad result, she thought she was better.
I've seen her face-to-face only like twice since then. I'm such an Idiot!

Her name? Hope. You/We/I/... all have seen her on The News. Really, you have.

Ya got me Looperji! You KNOW I was thinking of YOU when I wrote that!

Tsk. Tsk. Taking a dive is just lying with another name! Shame!

When I was young I played tennis. It hurt my elbows. I quit. Still have
the rackets though.

Don't thinks so. I really try NOT to watch anything related to any kind
of "ball". Science and "ball" do not mix. (Oddly science and music do)

I knew/know that. Mojo Challenged Sir Andy Roddick once said it best:
Serena could out bench press me, even when we were just teenagers!

Keep on egging, BenjJi! Sir JohnJi McEnroe is just fabulous, I love him!
Once in North Carolina, at a tennis resort, on a tennis court next to
where I was playing, teenager JohnJi was hitting balls with his Dad.

Sir RogerJi Federer is god God GOD G-D! I just love Roger! Always will.

I was so distracted by her beauty, I thought she would play with me again.
We'd fall in love... we'd marry... live happily ever after. SLAP^3! SNAP OUT
OF IT MAHIPAL! WAKE THE FUCK UP. Stop with your unachievable DREAMs. HERE! NOW!
In retrospect, I was lucky to have played even once the three sets with Hope.

Songs? Hey, did you happen to see the most beautiful girl in the world...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GhqbESuc2v8 Charlie Rich. Rich(y) Rich...
Or... If I Were A Rich Man... The Fiddler On The Roof.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RBHZFYpQ6nc link saves you the googling.

I also still have all me m(y) old rackets, even one wooden one: Rossignol Strato.
I also have Roger Federer's racquets, just before he switched to his current one.

I once got tennis elbow from a snow blower machine accident. It was on
the same day the 12/26/2004 Indian Ocean tsunami killed 300k+ people.

It was then I learned to play golf. While I'm a right handed tennis
player, I could play golf just fine while me m(y) right elbow was injured.
I couldn't even pick up a cup of coffee for like a year+ without feeling pain.

I know... I was lucky enough not to be rich, vacationing on tsunami's beaches.

There's this one great Russian short book/story: The Measure Of Man.

That's funny! A ball bounces and Bounces and BOUNCES in Earth's gravity field...

Actually, Hope married into money. I'll not reveal her. Not my place/call.
Just another long lost youth's friend separated now by The Cash S(y)stem.
The old Money Stratification Physics Party... need I put down my tiny violin?

All those great old Indian movies/stories have a new meaning/depth to me now.
Still, the best Westren Spaghetti money movie is The Good The Bad The Ugly.
Don't die Blondie. Don't die! You're my best friend... tell me The Grave Name...

Oh my MyPalji, I feel your pain! Once I actually played conga drums
(hers!) on stage with Sheila E! Can you imagine it? Dream the
unachievable dream! In the end she chased me off stage. Yes, for us
dreams come crashing down.

Sorry, Charlie Rich not in the same class as Shiela E.
And as for me, I've been working and I've been "retired" and Trust me,
"retired" is better. Um, until your money runs out...

Everything happens for a reason, so I'm told. All is preordained. Let it unfold.
No pain, no gain?! I'm going to punch that person in the nose, whoever said that.

I'm not sure why even Charlie Rich came to mind. Still, Charlie's very talented.
I've never listened to Shiela E, she sounds like a formerlyPrince impersonator.

That actor/singer/dancer/... Tevye in The Fiddler On The Roof is ridiculously good!
Seven hours every day... Lord, who made the lion and the lamb... JUST SO GREAT!
Snapping his fingers... you wouldn't have to work hard... so fucking beautiful!

I don't know which is the cooler image: You with purple turban or you
with long hair and muscles like Rambo. Oh wait, you hate guns and
killing people who "need" killin'. Oh well...yeah, turban is cool.

I don't have muscles like Rambo, no one could play real tennis being stiff like that.
Real tennis players are very limber, exercise with less weight and more repetitions.

I never did understand me being called Rambo, by those sex(y) Asian girls in Dubai.
Btw... They could've called me anything, as long as I was called upon ...youKnow!
Rambo does live like within 13 miles of me in Potomac, MD. No, I've never met him.
Also... I wouldn't even force my worst enemy to go suffer a Sylvester Stallone movie.

In all fairness, I do prefer the image of me being The Sikh in Alanis' Thank U train.
Except, I'd have a tennis racquet in one hand and a bamboo flute in the other.
How about not balling your e(y)es out... Thank U thank u THANK U... India...
Happy happy HAPPY SILENCE... the moment I jumped off of it... Namaste IndiaJi...

Who equated death with stopping? To take a Christian tack, there is a way
that seemeth right to a man but the end thereof is death and confusion.

Godji hath not willed that any should suffer (HVAC's mistaken nonsense
to the contrary not withstanding) The problem (as always) is YOU and
your thoughts. As you think so shall ye be!

Contrary to many musicians I don't do hero worship. I have met many
heroes, however. I do prefer meeting the real thing as opposed to
worship from afar.

Bamboo flute is an extension of the human voice, very authentic/difficult to play.

Next to the human voice, the drums, sticks and stones, I suspect bamboo
flutes were the first musical instrument ever invented by mankind. No?

Well, that is a very good question. Who first did it? Perhaps matters not much.
Death is inevitable, confusion is by choice. Or preordained. Whatever. TicTock.

That exactly is me m(y) problem. If only I were more optimistic/hopeful...
For me, life seems to be a slow painful agonizing death drowning in QuickSand. Jo(y)!
You're thinking I'm exaggerating. Sure... just keep thinking that...

Please BenjJi, do stop with the PollyAnna Philosophy of life... I've got balls...

Nevermind that last line, BenjJi. I just wanted to try be funn(y), just to make a joke.

Most all of us have no other choice. How is anyone going to gather The
Moody Blues, ELP, Queen, Rolling Stones, Beatles, Laxmikant Pyarelal,
Indeevar, Sahir Ludhianvi, R.D. Burman, Planck, Newton, M.E. Talaat...
into one train or one room? Mozart, Bach, Roger Federer, Agassi, Bjorn Borg,
Neil Diamond, Sachin, Me, Sean Connery, ShakesHisSpeare... Mohammad Rafi,
Kishor Kumar, Mukesh, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha... How how HOW?! One room?!

Some things are never ever gonna happen. No need to cry about/over them.

Yes, music is physics (plus so much more) Math is the science and music
is the art of time. I once worked for one of the most famous music
physicists. A.H. Benade, author of the famous book on the physics of
instruments. Used to build his inventions and instruments for him. Just
ONE of his braincells could put this entire newsgroup to shame. That is
a given.

Worked for/with Benade?! That is so ridiculously cool, BenjJi! It really is!
The book I read/studied is Music, Physics and Engineering, by Harry F. Olson.
