You keep saying that. You keep not realizing that doing so is the
equivalent of walking around with the word "IDIOT" engraved on your
forehead.

Seriously, why are you so *proud* of your wilful stupidity?

More to the point, what sort of evidence would convince
you that you had been wrong?

If you can't think of such evidence, you're not thinking
rationally.

Here is the dogma so WHY WON'T YOU BELIEVE?
Science is all about belief!

Question: If it's all about man made global warming, then why did all
you warmballers change your name to "climate change"?

Oddly climate change is the ONE certainty that ALL SIDES agree is true.

Warmballers don't think rationally. They just BELIEVE!
Yeah, that's it science is all about belief! HVAC told me so.
If a democratic vote of scientists says something is true, then you must
believe. If a bunch of politicians agree with them that is even more
certain proof of truth. It's really as simple as that.

I predict that no one in this thread will respond in any way to

Adams is correct. Both sides are persuasive but the skeptics are more persuasive to me. I see graphs like this and the engineer in
me screams that someone is jacking the numbers:
    http://realclimatescience.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Screen-Shot-2016-12-28-at-5.45.44-AM-1.gif
which is from:

3-2-1 Cue William three names calling me some derisive name.

Name-calling is the only thing the "changers" have on their side.

Number jacking in MANY ways is rife. Want lessons in number jacking? I
can give them to you. These run the gamut from locating temperature
stations in urban heat islands, to "adjusting" past temperature data, to
locating the CO2 monitoring station on an active volcano. What could
possibly go wrong? If you want more proof just look at the temperatures
between 1940 and 1970. They went DOWN while CO2 went UP. So much for
"anthropogenic". Gosh, Crichton wrote a book about this and suddenly
and unexpectedly died of cancer. Coincidence?

We are talking a proposed "energy tax" to "save the planet" of at least
a Trillion dollars a year. So who is willing to do what dishonesty for
THAT kind of bread. Think about it.

Well, so far, I am correct. Neither of you has address Adams'
point, which is *not* which side is correct, but rather, _how the
average person can judge_ which side is correct.

I predict this will continue in 100% of all responses.

(And this why why both sides are reduced to foaming spittle and
namecalling, and wny nobody else *care*.)

But the question to ask is whether or not the adjustment is based on
valid science.

"Non-scientists don’t have the tools to form a useful opinion on
climate science."

Non-scientists can look outside.

Non-scientists can conclude that this prediction from 17 years ago was
bullshit:

http://dailycaller.com/2014/03/04/top-5-failed-snow-free-and-ice-free-predictions/
“Children just aren’t going to know what snow is,” Dr. David Viner, a
scientist with the climatic research unit at the University of East
Anglia, told the UK Independent in 2000.

Just is an excellent example of what happens when politics infests science.

Incorrect. It was just another stinking capitalist lie. In order to
dominate the marked and accumulate wealth.

I disagree. I am giving a 5% for a proper moon landing, but honestly, I
don't even know what for, am I giving those 5% for. A couple of years from
now on, it will reduce to 4, 3 and 2%, and I still will not know what for
I will give those 2% for. Not my fault. Not our fault.

Technically, it's not loonie to say that some people believe that.

Not that Starmaker isn't a loon, of course, or at least plays one on Usenet.

(By the way, did you deliberately choose to use that _particular_ word?)

It's not a question of belief, it is a reality...the moon landing was just a publicity stunt.

The first man in space was Russia...

so they had to send a man to the moon to show the world...the moon landing was just a publicity stunt.
