#591444 — What I wished to see in U.S. Schools

I always wished that U.S. high schools should have a
couple of mandatory courses on firearms. Every high
school without exception. The following link gives a
glimpse of such courses and competitions in Russia.

What on earth does this have to do with physics?

As opposed to a web developer who sees no value in address munging or
maintaining a pseudonym.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Address_munging

And one who complains when people refer to information the web developer
has published broadly and publicly, claiming that is "private"
information. Maybe if you address-munged or used a pseudonym to protect
against that..... Oh wait.

There is dubious value in it, at best. You cannot have read the article
that you are citing.

I said “_personal_”, not “private”; and “_misusing_ against”, not “referring
to”. Big difference.

Except that it doesn’t. Let me, a studied *computer* scientist, tell you
once again that you live in a fantasy land if you believe otherwise.

it provides a hinderence, the key is;

Is cost of finding out greater than the value of knowing ?

or just use a remailer, and your "pseudonym"

glad you studied computer scientist, but did you ever create anything ?

Some more clutter .... at least the originator of this thread has an honest name. I will try not to be fooled by his posts anymore.

Guns are great because they create lots of ghosts!

(now THIS is what we call "physics" and "Science" in this newsgroup!)

When the group was named sci.physics, not
sci.discussion.anythingandeverything.

Try reading the charter, rather than ignoring it and doing whatever the
fuck you want.

Funny that when someone (truthfully) mentions al the off-topic garbage
here, you jump all over them but when all your pal HVAC does is talk
about sex, bodily functions, ghosts and be an abusive stalker, all you
have is the highest praise for his not only off-topic, but nonsensical
drool. WHat gives Boinker? Something political going on I presume?

Don't be dramatic. I don't read all the posts on the newsgroup, and I
don't respond to all the ones I read. Whether I responds depends on
whether I feel like responding. I don't make any efforts to make things
"fair".

You only respond when you feel you have the answer. It's against your policy to respond to post you have no answer for..
it will ruin the 'image' you created.
