It's the story of Jesus Crist written by a few guys who knew him then. How could anybody write about somebody that knew Jesus 323 years later????

The 4 gospels are the actions and words by Jesus in 30-33AD and experienced by thousands of people all talking about what they heard and saw, and including the many new religious ways of life given by the Son of God to man for the next number of years after the cross, and then the some men recorded what they were all saying.
