Yeah, you must have thought when there are no more valid arguments,
become personal. Ad hominem. Something will stick.

So much for manners. Hypocrite.

Do you have reason to think the Sun does not act
as a black body at cca 5800 K,
with deviations due e.g. photosphere absorption ?

https://web.archive.org/web/20130510142009/http://mynasa.nasa.gov/worldbook/sun_worldbook.html

Convection zone

The highest level of the solar interior, the convection zone, extends
from the radiative zone to the sun's surface. This zone consists of the
"boiling" convection cells. It makes up about 66 percent of the sun's
volume but only slightly more than 2 percent of its mass. At the top of
the zone, the density is near zero, and the temperature is about 5800 K.
The convection cells "boil" to the surface because photons that spread
outward from the radiative zone heat them.

Astronomers have observed two main kinds of convection cells -- (1)
granulation and (2) supergranulation. Granulation cells are about 600
miles (1,000 kilometers) across. Supergranulation cells reach a diameter
of about 20,000 miles (30,000 kilometers).
----------
Note that from other sources, density at top of convective zone is about
.2 g/m3, i.e. density 6000 time less than air at sea level.
It would be like air near 70 km high.
----------
Photosphere

The lowest layer of the atmosphere is called the photosphere. This zone
emits the light that we see. The photosphere is about 300 miles (500
kilometers) thick. But most of the light that we see comes from its
lowest part, which is only about 100 miles (150 kilometers) thick.
Astronomers often refer to this part as the sun's surface. At the bottom
of the photosphere, the temperature is 6400 K, while it is 4400 K at the
top.

The photosphere consists of numerous granules, which are the tops of
granulation cells. A typical granule exists for 15 to 20 minutes. The
average density of the photosphere is less than one-millionth of a gram
per cubic centimeter. This may seem to be an extremely low density, but
there are tens of trillions to hundreds of trillions of individual
particles in each cubic centimeter.

Chromosphere

The next zone up is the chromosphere. The main characteristic of this
zone is a rise in temperature, which reaches about 10,000 K in some
places and 20,000 K in others.

Astronomers first detected the chromosphere's spectrum during total
eclipses of the sun. The spectrum is visible after the moon covers the
photosphere, but before it covers the chromosphere. This period lasts
only a few seconds. The emission lines in the spectrum seem to flash
suddenly into visibility, so the spectrum is known as the flash spectrum.

The chromosphere is apparently made up entirely of spike-shaped
structures called spicules (SPIHK yoolz). A typical spicule is about 600
miles (1,000 kilometers) across and up to 6,000 miles (10,000
kilometers) high. The density of the chromosphere is about 10 billion to
100 billion particles per cubic centimeter.

What you are quoting from is used as reference in the Wikipedia article
that I referred to. I find it rather unlikely that you have found it by
yourself.

Aside from the word “photons” in that section, there is nothing relevant in
that section.

I have already confirmed both ideas: that photons produced within the Sun
(in the radiative zone and down to the core), and that there is outward
radiation pressure in the Sun.

At best, that is a red herring as this section does not refer to the
production of photons.

This is relevant, indeed. What you have not quoted, however, is what I
already referred to:

|
| The visible surface of the Sun, the photosphere, is the layer below which
| the Sun becomes opaque to visible light.[74] Above the photosphere visible
| sunlight is free to propagate into space, and its energy escapes the Sun
| entirely. The change in opacity is due to the decreasing amount of H⁻
| ions, which absorb visible light easily.[74] Conversely, the visible light
                                               ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
| we see is produced as electrons react with hydrogen atoms to produce H⁻
  ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
| ions.[75][76]
  ^^^^^

So the photon emission in the lower layers of the photoshere, what *could*
be called “the sun’s surface”, differently from what was claimed does not
happen because of linear (absorption and re-)emission *either*.

> Chromosphere
> […]

There is nothing even remotely relevant to photon emission in that section.

Kirchhoff law say for more than century
emissivity goes along with absorptivity,
as thermodynamics dictates so.

There is no way stuff thermally emits
without absorbing and vice versa.

Thermal radiation occurs within all the Sun volume,
but only the one origited at lower photosphere and above
has chance to get out.

I am not an experimenting nor theoretical astronomer,
but there is plenty of material you can study.

What I posted before was not meant as evidence nor convincing,
it was intended just as background info.

John I was thinking a very dark dust could block out the stars and cast a shadow. It would block out light and make a black void in space.Only its force of gravity is it giving out. TreBert

QM doesn't have a model for any
matter except ours.
The Galaxy Model for the Atom
indicates that smaller-grained matter
is constantly produced by electrons
and will then be dispersed around
