Some more idiocy pandered by fools in the news after Texas Santa Fe school shooting-- arm teachers. What fools there be.

The final solution to the epidemic school shootings in USA is to::

1) ban all assault rifles in USA and only in military or police is assault rifles warranted
2)The Columbine, the Sandy Hook, the Florida and now Texas, all would have never happened if the PARENTS and GUARDIANS of school shooters served the same jail time as the shooter. None of those shootings would have happened if Parents and Guardians of kids knew that they would serve prison along with their kid shooter.

3. Start massively kicking out any politician aligned with NRA. If you are a NRA stooge in politics, you do not belong in politics. NRA is a polite term for mafia politics. Evidence-- our young school kids are learning that killing people is what education is all about.

Strange and funny how USA laws on terrorism, that you can drive a terrorist to a city and then end up in prison because of aiding and abetting terrorism.

But then, everyone ignores and never looks at the parents or guardians of school shooters. So that the parents of Sandy Hook turned a blind eye on the parents of that shooter for those parents flooded their house with guns and ammo, and took the crazy kid out to the shooting range-- I mean-- really those parents were just as deranged as the crazy kid shooter. So here in America, if you haplessly drive a terrorist to town, you can end up in prison for driving him-- aiding and abetting, yet school shooter parents can teach teenagers how to handle a assault rifle, and that is NOT aiding and abetting crime.

And now, look at how silly the North Korea and China are playing the Trump fool. Their missile talk is all about China not being hit with trade tariffs. What Trump hopes to gain is Korea missile free. I guess I never looked closely at barn swallows Hirundo rustica, and thought they were a drab black, but this years swallows have 1/2 blue, nice blue. They come back every year for my porch underhang. They are so skilled at flying they fly right next to me, never fearing that I could catch them.

And today weeded out my poppies, those orange poppies, and weeded out my yew bushes. Tomorrow I do the peonies.

So, getting outside and enjoying the sunlight, being alive and surrounded in green everything. Today my poppies rewarded me for weeding them yesterday by blooming. So I gave them a sprinkle of fertilizer as well as my peonies. I am going to use a cardboard as a weed suppressant, as I weed I put cardboard down with a brick on top to hold in place, it suppresses the grass from growing.

Now there is a chore I am not looking forward to, some black locust is sucker rooting and have to get that under control before it just takes over. Not looking forward to dragging the limbs to the compost. No glove is good enough. Last time I used a two pairs of pliers one in each hand. It is an aggressive tree. And my ash trees, the old ones are dying from that borer.

I love my dish antennae of some 20 or 30 years old, that huge aluminum dish, about 7 feet diameter that I roll around and put tomato plants around and put a hose in middle that soaks all around and never any weeds can grow around the tomatoes or cucumbers. Elsewhere I use old metal roofing to suppress weeds and only the vegetables grow in the open line. Metal for weed suppression is great. None of that plastic crap works, besides it pollutes the soil.

Last year I had a huge harvest of organic apples, and thought this year would be small, because some trees take a year off, then a year on. But no, the apples are coming on strong again.

Have not heard the tree frogs yet, but I guess it is too early.

Am watching a garden spider cocoon that I relocated, the Argiope. Have seen wolf spiders already, but wondering how argiope spent the winter. I am guessing the spider died and left behind a sac of eggs, and they start life anew each year. So anxious to see it open and if babies come out or if the old spider comes out.

Tomorrow I weed the yellow roses and give them some fertilizer. I treasure my roses for tea. And today in store I bought some watermelon and mint seed and dill seed for pickles. I was debating not to get watermelon because they ripen too late in the season. I was looking at lavender seed, and wondering if it makes a good tea. Maybe next year give lavender a try.

Now I was looking for gourmet organic bread today, hoping I could find some sourdough gourmet organic. None in sight in big city Sioux City. I was so much looking forward to that as to make gourmet bread the three top foods to eat in my house. It used to be ice cream, chocolates, cookies, of course, and then I decided to gain my weight back to being 137 lbs, not north of 150 lbs. So, the key to diet-- no longer eat any sugar foods, and I am happy to report I am at 144 lbs. So no gourmet bread-- and probably for the better because if I had found some, I would have bought 3 loafs and frozen them, and eat too much and gain weight. I did buy a peach organic kefir, because I like those bottles to shake milk with almond milk into a shake. And I asked some store attendents where they keep the kefir, and the two girls did not know what I was talking about. Such a shame that 1/2 of Americans probably do not know what kefir is. They know the name of every rap singer, but never tried a kefir. No wonder Trump is president.

That has got to be one of my favorite NATURE episodes, where they take 20 giraffe from one side of the Nile to the other side. They release about 6 giraffe after a ferry boat ride across the Nile from Uganda to the other side. My eyes teared up on seeing Melvin the Giraffe and his lady giraffes finding new freedom and hopefully building a insurance policy that the giraffe will not go extinct.
