Obvious nonsense.

The areas where the grids are interconnected are already huge and further
interconnections will not generate any more energy.

The Interstate Highway System had an immediate and real payback to the
national GDP as well as to the general standard of living.

Wind and solar farms are money pits with no real payback to placate
hysterical Chicken Littles.

If wind and solar farms were not subsidized, there wouldn't be any.
