Exellent question.
So Archie, why don't you answer this question and tell us why you continue
to spend so much time failing in sci.physics?  Even after decades of your
failures?

The latest new failure is Archimedes Plutonium who thinks he is god's gift
to physics, proclaiming himself as the reincarnation of the ancient
Archimedes with his farce, the Plutonium Stupidity Theory. When asked how
the electric field could be voltage, since its units are kg*m/A*s^3,
whereas physics calls voltage kg*m^2/A*s^3, the insane Archimedes
Plutonium pontificated away the shortcomings, as a godlike Archimedes has
no shortcomings.

Periodically a gang of 1 or more, mostly anonymous names flood 
sci.physics.
 A recent spasm occurred in July 2017 with

Probably all just one person with fake names.

Why they cannot be bounced out quickly rather than flood spam, flood pollute
for decades on end. Poor Archie doesn't realize Usenet groups have no
"bouncer", fortunate for him since he'd be among the first to go.

Archimedes Plutonium is a classical failure but lacks the intelligence to 
move on, and with McGinn talk of weather, the goofball has not enough sense
to realize he should be in alt.stupidity, not sci.physics.
