We have to write knowing someday, someone else will come along to fix a bug or add a feature or whatever. We use macros all the time. Good clear macros are valuable. It's stuff others will have to deal with that matters. Simple, clear stuff like that definition are fine. Confusing stuff isn't. Maybe I should try to slip something like that loop macro in my next reviewed code and see what others have to say about it....
