agree, but the cage is for 2400 MHz and up to lower the maggie output
leakage to some not so bad region, and perhaps harmonics. seems like
40db attenuation would be adiquate. (there are real numbers out there,
but one has to do field strength to power conversion and that assumes an
antenna of some sort...)

and assuming same materials would work about the same at 900 MHz, it
seems like the attenuation may be in the range of 30 to 50 db.

=> SO if one lives near a Cell tower, it may work fine, if one is 10 or
more miles away, perhaps not.

the dynamic range on tower to cellphone is about 120 dB, (gets
complicated, 30 watts out into 120 degree antenna, pathloss, sensitivity
floor of cellphone, and then the reverse path, as cellphone has perhaps
5W out)

(subtract 40 db of the chamber from the 120db working range of
cellpone/tower)
