Except it offers exactly nothing to explain the chemistry of benzene.
Why does benzene react the way it does to electrophiles, John?
Explain the difference between how benzene and cyclohexene react to
electrophiles.  Explain the violations of the laws of physics your
spinny thing electrons would have.  You can't.

Pretty pictures of spinny things mean nothing.
