John, I can't reveal my name, nor show pictures of my face, nor give any 
personally identifying information. Any voice recordings will be altered 
on purpose for the same reason.

I cannot reveal my identity because, for the last 26 years, I have been 
a high-level employee of the NSA with Q clearance. I report indirectly 
to Dr. Haseltine's office and have since 2010. While I've had a number 
of foreign assignments to Japan, Myanmar, Kuwait and Oman, most of my 
station assignments have been stateside. Though my main area is ELINT, I 
come from SIGINT and IMINT training.

I have been routinely handed new legends, carefully crafted by the best 
cobblers in the business, with each assignment. I can supply fully 
supported documentation for nine different active identities and four 
deactivated ones.

I have personally seen a hangared craft that was associated with a 
sighting in a deep south state in the late 1990s. I was not allowed to 
have direct-touch inspection, but have heard reports of those who have 
and have received neurological impacts somewhat akin to electrical 
shock. However, these are a little unusual in their pathology, and it is 
conjectured that the electrical discharge was of unusually high 
frequencies, in the terahertz range that is beyond current human technology.

I can also tell you, without breaking seal, that the United States has 
benefited from an occasional internal campaign whereby disinformation 
regarding physical, chemical, and biological analyses of key events has 
been seeded to certain groups of individuals with a history of 
whistle-blowing or anti-government orientation. The purpose of these 
disinformation distributions has been to "spin up" a public hue and cry 
by these groups. The inevitable result of their public outrage is 
immediate backlash by experts, followed by the social and intellectual 
containment of the anti-government faction. The disinformation is 
carefully graded to produce a near-hysterical reaction by the AGF, which 
only exacerbates their loss of credibility. In other words, a certain 
department's job is to take an emotionally active event, and to 
manufacture information to make the event even more emotionally active, 
for the precise purpose of polarization of the public and the 
marginalization of the targeted minority. While not specifying any 
particular event, it would not be out the realm of possibility that 
major events from the last two decades would be likely candidates for 
such action.

I am presently between assignments, and have been given a deeply 
supported legend to allow decomp leave, provided that I only communicate 
in anonymized channels and do not provide any directly identifiable data 
that would single out a particular event, person, location, or outcome.
