Here the first body is the car. The second body is the post. Notice that the third law does NOT say, "When the car exerts a force of 25 lbs to the east on the post, then there is an equal and opposite force of 25 pounds on the post to the west." What the third law DOES say is, "When the car exerts a force of 25 lbs to the east on the post, then there is an equal an opposite force that the post exerts on the car."
