Because after reading the bible, no moral person would choose to be with god. I think now that life is a test to see which of us are truly moral enough to stand up to the evil god in spite of 97% of the planet telling us we should, and in light of the suffering and pain we supposedly will be subject to due to the tender ministrations of god.
