Bert No shit you are confused. If your blood glucose level is over about 130 mg/dL you need medication. Part A provides inpatient/hospital coverage and is free for most people. Part B provides outpatient/medical (i.e. doctor vist) coverage and is NOT free. Part D provides prescription drug coverage and is NOT free.
