He's done more than that -- and what's got anybody with Math 1 under 
their belt shaking their head is that you don't know what the derivative 
computes for the sine wave.

But maybe you're right, and I shouldn't be off discussing tangents.  
Please continue with your "spnaking", or whatever it is you're doing.
