I gave google maps my home and work addresses so it could tell me
about traffic problems on my commute home after work.  I suspect
that's why it points to the outer street address which is some
distance from my actual unit.  The other services which ask Chrome for
permission to know my location point to the street which is closest to
my unit, which is around a corner from my official address.

I'm surprised that the location google gives me is different than the
one Chrome gives to websites, since both are using Google information.

Both of mine have a wifi connection, but the bridge is by cat6 wiring.
The telco modem and router combo box is in the basement where all the
other services enter the building.  I ran a lot of wiring all over the
house (except for master bedroom where I couldn't visualize any easy
way to run wiring without working among the sixteen inches of fluff in
the attic).  The telco WiFi is used by my roommates.  The second
router plugs (via a long wire and a couple of sockets) into one of the
"LAN"  ports on the telco's modem-router.  

The second router is my personal net, that the roommates cannot see.
I have a large drive, a couple of printers, and the memory stick in my
scanner all visible on that net, but nobody but me uses it.  The
second router is upstairs, with a much better and more stable signal
to my bedroom.

I've never tried chaining WiFi links.  I've gone the other way.  I
have a netbook I never use anymore, and I've used it to bridge a
signal from the WiFi to a wired connection.  I've used it a few times
to load drivers to computers that weren't set up for WiFi yet.
Connecting to the netbook with a wire then pugging the WiFi stick into
a USB, allows Windows to auto-find the drivers for the WiFi stick.

I'm probably going to have to discard the two spare WiFi sticks.
Apparently they don't work in Win64.  A supposed driver is loaded,
then is shut down by the system immediately.
