I read the article (link above). Net Net, North and South, sea ice is diminishing. Antarctic sea ice near South America is diminishing. Seas near humans are losing ice, possibly due to water pollution and/or warm winds/currents. Everywhere, including the Antarctic, _land_ ice is diminishing. But one study, a major outlier, says the Antarctic is gaining _land_ ice.
