It is not impossible at all. At least one of > the clocks is a broken clock. > > So your earlier statement was either a lie or a joke. Hard to say which. Well, it depends on how you interpret the Galilean transformation equations. For example, we could manufacture a clock for use on Mars, calculated to show 24 hours for every rotation of the planet Mars. Would that be a broken clock? It would be doing exactly what it was manufactured to do. In a sense, Martian time is already being used by NASA. There are Mars rovers exploring the surface of the planet Mars. So should Martian rovers be operated on earth time or on Martian time? If you want the cameras on the Martian rovers to record something other than darkness, you need to operate them during the time when it is daylight on Mars, not when it is daylight on earth. Or maybe you would want to be a true scientist like Gary Harnagel and consider any measurement of time that does not conform to twenty four hours as measured by the GPS system of earth to be broken. That would mean that Mars is a broken planet because it rotates once every 24 hours 39 minutes instead of once every 24 hours. But true scientists could operate the Martian rovers only when it is daytime on earth so that they would not be operating according to the time of broken clocks. Of course, you might drive one of them off a cliff, but, hey, can't we sacrifice a Martian rover once in a while in the interest of true science?

No, any place that has cesium and enough technology available could have a cesium clock. Or one could be brought in. Or a less precise (but still acceptable) clock could be used.

Because Michael Moroney, following The Shit of our ingenious Great Guru, is the one who decides what is right and what is broken. Whether it works or not - doesn't matter. Our Great Guru and his Shit know!!

So it is still referenced to earth and the GPS system on earth. Everything else is broken.
