There is no such thing. Those are models in physics, not mathematics. Another proof that you are uneducated, due a systemic failure in the country of your residence. Unbelievable, to pay lots of lots of money, to become stupid. >>As we see in the posts here, they cannot match their mathematical models >>to the REAL experiments done by Hafele and Keating. > > That experiment was done to VALIDATE the mathematical models. Yes, but their mathematical models did NOT involve reciprocal motion or reciprocal time dilation. Mathematicians on this forum MISINTERPRET the mathematical equations or MISUSE those equations to argue that motion is reciprocal and time dilation is reciprocal. That is the #1 DUMBEST belief in physics: http://oldguynewissues.blogspot.com/2018/02/the-10-dumbest-ideas-in-physics.html > > That experiment was done to VALIDATE the mathematical models. How do you think H&K got their results? How did they analyze the measurements to confirm GR? Note for example I have only said the SR is reciprocal. aLL of the examples you keep pointing to are NON-RECIPROCAL, and usually involving GR in some way. I don't have any hatred for mathematicians. I just disagree with those mathematicians who twist and distort Einstein's theories to fit their own (QM) theories and their mathematical formulas. I pity them for being so wrong and yet so certain they are right. > > > > > The idea that two objects can be moving at different speeds seems > > incomprehensible to them. You seem to be confused. The examples/experiments I point to are SR experiments. SR is non-reciprocal. I cannot avoid the fact that the experiments involve GR. It is next to impossible to set up a good experiment that involves clocks and ONLY SR. I am unaware of ANY experiment that compares atomic clocks and ONLY involves SR. Ed

SR is NOT reciprocal. The fact that an experiment involves BOTH SR and GR doesn't change that. Neither is reciprocal. The experiments have shown that neither is reciprocal over and over and over and over. If SR is reciprocal, cite an experiment that confirms that. Ed

Here's the link: http://www.ed-lake.com/Time-Dilation.html I wish people here would stop talking about one twin SEEING the other twin's clock when the clock is inside a spaceship a trillion miles away. It is JUST PLAIN STUPID. It cannot be disproved, so it is meaningless - in addition to being JUST PLAIN STUPID. Hafele and Keating carried clocks on airplanes to PROVE that the clocks they carried with them ran at a different rate than a clock that remained back in Washington DC. They confirmed that. Others repeated the experiment by flying clocks from London to Washington and back. And, of course, there are many experiments which confirm that clocks tick faster at higher altitudes than at lower altitudes. These are experiments where people can actually see or get data from different clock for comparison, instead of fantasizing about SEEING a clock a trillion miles away. A couple years ago, I got fed up with people arguing about seeing clocks a trillion miles away and I proposed that they talk about using a pulsar as a clock that we KNOW both twins could see. I created a web page about it here: http://www.ed-lake.com/Time-Dilation.html So, we have an earthbound twin on Earth counting pulses from the pulsar, and we have a traveling twin moving perpendicular to the pulsar at 99.5% of the speed of light. The twin on earth counts: 1 pulse every 10 seconds = 6 pulses per minute. 6 pulses per minute = 360 pulses per hour, or 8,640 pulses per day, or 3,153,600 pulses per year, or 31,536,000 pulses in TEN years, or 31,553,280 pulses when you include 2 leap year days. The traveling twin counts: 1 pulse (on average) every second = 60 pulses per minute. 60 pulses per minute = 3,600 pulses per hour, or 86,400 pulses per day for 365 days, plus 17,280 pulses to compensate for 2 leap year days equals 31,553,280 pulses counted during the ONE year trip. So, they count the same number of pulses, but the traveling twin counted them while he aged just 1 year. The twin back on earth counted the same number of pulses, but it took him TEN years of his time to do the count. I think that page explains time dilation better than any other book or paper or web page I've seen. And I'd like to discuss it. Ed

They have a "reference clock" and a second clock that ticks at the same rate. They set both to zero and then move the second clock. When the second clock is returned to be next to the reference clock, the second clock will show a different amount of has passed since they were set than what the reference clock shows. Ed

Remember, that (clock goes away and returns) is the traveling twin problem, not simple time dilation due to inertial motion.

No is not. You just made another error. It's rather about the length of the path through the spacetime. See, you are an idiot.

Eduardo Del Lago escrito It's what time dilation experiments are all about. They have a "reference clock" and a second clock that ticks at the same rate. They set both to zero and then move the second clock. When the second clock is returned to be next to the reference clock, the second clock will show a different amount of has passed since they were set than what the reference clock shows. Yes, with a minus -. It's actually not about clocks. Clocks are actually irrelevant.
