But you don't use the Galilean transformation equations. At least not
correctly. If you did, you'd see this when going from S to S':

and then when you went back from S' to S, you'd use this equation:
t=t'
I mean any idiot can understand that. When do you learn that if X=Y, then
Y=X? Second Grade?
Instead, you deliberately insert some sort of broken clock which reads
time n, and you claim it proves something. The Galilean Transform doesn't
say anything about using broken clocks called n. The only thing your
broken clock will prove is that you'll get the wrong answer. Which is what
many people have been telling you.

OK, you are saying that this set of equations is not Galilean.
x = x' - v'n'
y = y'
z = z'
n = n'
But you say the equations would be all right if we had this:
x = x' - v't'
y = y'
z = z'
t = t'
v' = -v
So if we take the adjusted clock in the satellite, we have exactly the above. From S, t'=t. From S', t = t'. So what about it, is this Galilean or not?

You do 3 steps, Galilean t-->t', Winn t'-->n', Galilean n'-->n. So overall you do a mishmash, which is wrong, and not Galilean. You never specify exactly what the Winn Transform is, other than the n' clock is somehow "slow". But, of course, since the Galilean Transform is t'=t everywhere, your Winn Transform violates the Galilean Transform. A consequence of the Galilean Transform is that time is the same everywhere, for everyone, and again, your Winn Transform t'-->n' violates this.

Well, as I have explained before, I only use the Galilean transformation equations. I know this may be difficult for modern scientists to understand, but the Galilean transformation equations are expressed in variables other than S(x,y,z,t) and S'(x',y',z',t') all the time. These particular variables became popular because they were used by Einstein in his writings, except that he used K(x,y,z,t) and K'(x',y',z',t'). Your objection is that I follow the axioms of algebra and do not do what scientists do in their incorrect algebra.

But you used the Winn Transform to transform from t' to n'.
Or do you want to call this transform something else? You invented it, so
you should get to name it.
If you used the Galilean transform only, twice, we'd get this boring
tautology:
x = x
y = y
z = z
t = t
because t' = t, then t = t'.

First of all, the symbols used for the Galilean transforms may vary, but the meanings of those symbols do not vary. The time coordinate in an inertial reference frame is what is read on an ideal clock at rest in that reference frame. So you are not only changing the symbols but the meaning of the symbols, which when you do that makes them no longer the Galilean transforms, as we’ve discussed many times. Secondly, you are inventing an axiom of algebra that doesn’t exist, on that says that if you put an equal sign between two expressions involving different variables, this means that the statement is true. There is no such axiom of algebra, as we have also already discussed. -- Odd Bodkin — Maker of fine toys, tools, tables

No, you do not understand the Galilean transformation equations. n' is the time of a clock in S'. The clock can be slower or faster than a clock in S. Scientists claim that they have observed it to be both ways. The time of the clock in S is shown by t'=t, which specifies that the time of a clock in S is being used in both frames of reference in that set of Galilean transformation equations. So now because of conditions of motion and gravitation, the clock in S' has a different rate than the clock in S, and the time of that clock is n'. If we say n=n', that shows that the time of a clock in S is not being used in this other set of Galilean transformation equations, but only the time of the clock in S' is being used. So, as you say, the time in S could be converted to n', but I have never done that because it can be seen that t' is the time that coincides with the gravitation of the system, so n' is converted to t', and then the equations with t'=t are used.
If the set of equations with n'=n is compared with the set of equations with t'=t, it can be seen that for every n', there is a t' which can be determined from the distances because there is no length contraction in the Galilean transformation equations.

There is no Winn Transform. n' is the time in a set of Galilean transformation equation which represents the time of a clock in S' that is slower or faster than a clock in S. v' is the velocity of S relative to S' according to the time of the clock that shows n'. Since there is no length contraction in the Galilean transformation equations,
vt = -v'n'
v'= -vt/n'
As seen from S', S has a negative velocity relative to S'.

The Galilean transform is one specific set of equations.
x'=x-vt
y'=y
z'=z
t'=t
What these equations say is that the same reference for time is being used in both frames of reference.
Why do you want to go from t' to n'?
Suppose you were using miles in the above equations, and you were given a distance in kilometers?
Well, we know what scientists would do. They would just put the kilometers into the equation because kilometers are a distance, and x' and x are distances the same way they do with times.
But not all people are like scientists. Some people would convert the kilometers into miles before using that distance in the equation. We all know how wrong this must seem. Don't people understand the length contraction?
OK, so now scientists tell us that there is a faster or slower clock in S' than the clock in S that shows t. Like the people who would convert kilometers to miles, we would convert the time of that slower or faster clock to t' before using it in the Galilean transformation equations. I know how wrong this must seem to people who believe in a length contraction.
It may take centuries to resolve this, but I believe that eventually there will be scientists who will be able to grasp the concept.

Because, if you don't, all you have are two independent Galilean transforms that have nothing whatsoever to do with each other. All you do is state that in S' the "t" clock reading is the same as it is in S, and in S the "n" clock reading is the same as it is in S'. Means nothing. That's about as useful as stating "A mile in Nebraska is the same as a mile in Montana, and a kilometer in Montana is the same as a kilometer in Nebraska". Quite true, but all it shows is a length is the same everywhere. Now, if there is some transform from t' to n', then they have something to do with each other, and perhaps your statement may mean something. But you say there is no transform goes from t' to n'? Meaning all you have are two disconnected usages of the Galilean transformation that have nothing at all to do with each other? Of course all this assumes that your broken clock n' actually does keep some sort of time. And of course a real scientist wouldn't even use a broken clock at all.

Quite true, but all it shows is a length is the same everywhere. I should have used time, not distance. So: If we had Robert's broken Walgreens clock "n'" (RIP) in S', and if this broken clock lost 1 minute per 10 minutes, the Galilean transform would predict that in S, the Walgreens clock "n" would also lose 1 minute per 10 minutes. And if in S, we had an atomic clock "t" that kept perfect time, the Galilean transform would predict that in S' the atomic clock "t'" would also keep perfect time. Two independent usages of the Galilean transform that have nothing to do with each other.

Two independent usages of the Galilean > transform that have nothing to do with each other. What makes you think they have nothing to do with each other? Two descriptions of reality that agree with each other do not have anything to do with each other? Unlike what scientists are doing, the Galilean transformation equations show that one clock is slower than the other, and the same clock is slower from either set of Galilean transformation equations. Welcome to reality.

You seem a little upset. Perhaps there are some of these nice scientists who could comfort you by talking to you about the length contraction. You won't find any in this discussion, though. The Galilean transformation equations do not have a length contraction.

A reminder that you can’t prove > anything in physics with algebra. > Well, of course, if you reject algebra, you can do whatever you want to do because then there is no reference for physics. So you can say, Aristotle was right, a heavier object falls faster than a lighter one, the earth is flat, lead can be turned into gold, the sun is going around the earth, the orbits of the planets are epicycles, and there is a length contraction. Who can dispute it? If algebra is not allowed, whatever you say is already proven because you do not allow algebra. So go ahead and believe whatever you want to believe. I am still going to use algebra. The Galilean transformation equations are algebra. Were you aware that the Galilean transformation equations do not have a length contraction?
