Searching for an alternative explanation of the Hubble Red Shifts, it
occurred to me that if the speed of light is slowing down, then this
will necessarily lead to increasing red-shift with increasing distance,
as observed by Hubble et. al., without any expansion at all.
Merely by assuming dc = -K c dt ..................(1)
I was led to c = c(0) e^-Kt ...............(2)
and on to Red-Shift = e^-Kt - 1 .........(3)
K ~= 10^-10 /year
t = time in years
Only after starting the PHYSICS PRIZE thread, in which i was trying to
enlist the help of sci.physics.relativity readers to obtain a more
accurate value of K, did the obvious solution occur to me...........
K = H = Hubble's Constant
and t = -t ( so times past become +ve)
which substituted in (3) gives:
Red-Shift = e^Ht - 1 .........(4)
then for times which are small compared to 1/H (i.e. small compared
to the 'age of the universe'), we may use the approximation:
e^x ~= 1 + x .................(5)
So for t << 1/H we have:
Red-Shift = H * t ............(6)
which is of course the normal "Hubble's Law", valid only
for modest times into the past ( t < ~5 billion years).
As our telescopes manage to see further out into space, and therefore
further back in time, we will find that the normal linear Hubble's Law
expressed in equation(6), will have to be replaced by the more accurate
exponential form expressed in equation(4). This is indeed what is found
in observatories all around the world eh!
Conclusions:
1. The speed of light in intergalactic-space is slowing down.
2. There was no "Big Bang"
3. There was no "Inflation"
4. The galaxies are not accelerating away from us.
5. There is no "Dark Energy"

Einstein's relativity is not based on two coordinate system that are in motion. Einstein is reversing the negative result of M-M experiment where the velocity of the earth is being used to reverse the neg. result but the underline fact is that the translation velocity is not constant and varies a time increases. Your GPS, Doppler and other analogies are just that analogies that are bing used to justify Einstein's deception. If you also consider the ether, Maxwell's theory and Faraday, Maxwell's massless electromagnetic field used in the gauge. Suggests that all that work that you have done to get you phd an BS are in reality worthless and ready for the circular linear coordinate system monochromatic gray receptical input system. Roger that. You Phd. and degrees are completely meaningless. How do you feel? BEN DROWNED!!!!!!

But particles accelerated in a ring at close to the speed of light radiate. a cone of light pointed ahead of them, like a searchlight. from a boat. Wrong direction for your theory, but beautifully predicted.. by relativity. And used for useful effect to get various frequencies of. light from microwave to X-ray. It's long past the experimental. stage, and is a ho-hum effect used to generate synchrotron radiation. in materials sciences. Accelerators are used for the light they generate now,. because it's so pure. __________________________________________________________________________ The CERN large hadron collider LHC (2017) describes a hadron (proton) beam that is accelerated using a superconducting coil but a magnetic field does not accelerate protons. Using an analogy, a solenoid's wire coil that accelerates an iron armature cannot be used to justify the acceleration of protons since a magnetic field of a solenoid produces an affect on metals such as a carpenter nail, paper clip or iron filings. The cyclotron (fig 18) is used to justify the acceleration of the hadron beam but the cyclotron accelerates ions not protons and the accelerated cyclotron ions are accelerated using an electric field produced by two gaps between the two halves of the cyclotron not by a wire coil's magnetic field.

Yes? The various types of magnetic fields in the LHC do NOT accelerate the particles. All they do is confine them-- make them go around in a circle (dipole fields) or get focused (quadrupole fields, etc). >The cyclotron (fig 18) is used to justify the acceleration of. the hadron beam but the cyclotron accelerates ions not protons and the accelerated. cyclotron ions are accelerated using an electric field produced by two. gaps between the two halves of the cyclotron not by a wire coil's. magnetic field.< The cyclotron will accelerate any charged particle (ion). Including electrons, protons, atomic nuclei. So will the LHC (though it is never used for electrons, as they radiate too much synchrotron radiation when moving in a circle with that energy, so they are always accelerated linearly, at other places). Cyclotrons are old technology-- you don't want to waste the magnets to keep up a magnetic field over a 27 km racetrack. The only place you need it is in the tube. Also, the chief charm of the cyclotron, the fact that particles of any energy have the same revolution speed in the constant magnetic field of a cyclotron (even as their orbit radius grows), doesn't work as particles approach the speed of light. A machine like the LHC has to use Einstein's equations to accelerate particles up to nearly the speed of light (increasing the magnetic field over 15 minutes as they accelerate) after which they circulate at 11,245 revolutions per second, no matter what their energy is. The largest ring in the LHC increases particle energy by a factor of 10 to 15, but they still go around 11,245 times per second, both before and after! Their velocity is so near the speed of light at both energies that it makes no difference to their speed to 5 decimal places. But it takes a much higher field (indeed, 10 to 15 times stronger) to keep them at that frequency over that distance (26.7 km). The LHC uses the same technique as a cyclotron to accelerate particles. They travel through RF cavities where the electric field potential can vary as much as 2 million volts from one side to the other of a cavity, kicking the particle energy up by 2 MeV as it traverses this RF gap. There are eight of these per ring, so they can gain in theory as much as 16 MeV per revolution. Multiply by 11,245 rev/sec and get 180,000 MeV per second, or 10,800,000 MeV per minute = 10 TeV per minute of operation. The actual acceleration is not that fast, and beam really take 15 minutes to gain 4 to 6 TeV per particle.

The electric fields accelerate the beam.. The magnetic fields guide and focus the beam. . ____________________________________________________ There are no electric fields affecting the emitted proton beam while propagating and being accelerated by the supperconducting coil within the beam pipe that is used to allegedly accelerate the proton beam. Furthermore, the coil's magnetic field is pointing in the direction of propagation! The LHC experiment does not make any physical sense!! Just like the rest of experimental physics that is based on relativity and stupid people like you that use your intelligence or lack of to perpetuate this hoax. You know it is wrong yet you are defending it which suggest that you are either insane or stupid. I prefer to hope that you are just plan stupid rather than be insane like Hitler or Himmler (meth addicts). My definition of an physics idiot is an innocent person that does not care if he or she poops in his or her undergarment. Physicists are continuously pooping themselves and congradulating themselves with vigorous hard hand shakes and French wet kisses. In the past, they called Galilieo a genius but he wasn't all that smart, he just wasn't stupid and they called him a genius so they wouldn't look like blatant idiots with dog shit dripping down their legs and stinking up the place similar to what you posted.

Why would you write something so dumb, when anyone can type "CERN" into Google, read the wikipedia web page on CERN or visit CERN's website itself, and READ how it works. Also get a high school physics book and read the chapter on electromagnetism, and how electric and magnetic fields affect charged particles. > Furthermore, the coil's magnetic field is pointing in the direction of >propagation! There are multiple magnets, configured differently, depending on their purpose. For example, focusing magnets are arranged in a quadrupole configuration. > The LHC experiment does not make any physical sense!! Maybe not to you, but to someone who knows science well it makes perfect sense. > Just like the rest of experimental physics that is based on relativity You can learn how electric and magnetic fields accelerate and bend charged particle beams without involving relativity. But CERN is fine proof of relativity, it simply wouldn't work at all if relativistic effects weren't accounted for. >I prefer to hope that you are just plan stupid rather than be insane like >Hitler or Himmler I call Godwin, you have just admitted you lost the argument. <snip insane babbling> Alright, which nurse forgot to give this guy his Haldol today?

Yes, there are. That's how the beam gets accelerated. > Furthermore, the coil's magnetic field is pointing in the direction of propagation! < No, it is pointed orthogonal to it. As explained, there isn't one coil, there are 1232 magnets that only operate to keep the beam going in a circle, plus many more to keep it focused. These 1232 dipole magnets produce a magnetic field B oriented up-and-down. The beam goes at right angles to that, parallel with the Earth, along the circle. The resulting Lorentz force is orthogonal to BOTH the field and the velocity vector, and operates on the particles as force F = qV X B that is oriented pointing toward the center of the circle. This Lorentz force, and is the CENTRIPITAL force that keeps the particles traveling in a 27 km circle, instead of flying off in a straight tangent. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lorentz_force >>The LHC experiment does not make any physical sense!! Not to you, maybe. And the reason why not is first, that your basic engineering facts are wrong, just to begin with. The dipole magnetic fields are pointed up and down where the beam crosses them, not in the direction of propagation. If you think not, you are wrong. The direction of the electric fields in the RF cavities is at right angles to this, in the direction of the beam, to pull and push it forward faster (if you think not, you are wrong.) And so forth. These synchrotrons have been made this way for more than 50 years. I've known people who got proton treatment for their cancer here at Loma Linda university, where they have a baby machine that works like this and that accelerates protons. They've been doing that since 1990. It works. You're like somebody complaining that you don't understand airplanes, and they make no sense, so therefore they don't work. Sorry, but they work. By now, they are just a common tool-- even an increasingly common tool in medicine-- not a conspiracy. You want an irony? I participated in the first trial of protons used in a patient who at the same time had intra-arterial chemotherapy at Loma Linda, in 2000. My colleague, Dr. David Mantik, who at the time ran the LLUMC proton accelerator, became a major JFK-assassination conspiracy theorist. But it never would have occurred to him to become an relativity-conspiracist and deny proton accelerator function. He used that accelerator every weekday (fun fact: rad-onc people don't work on weekends). For him, the synchrotron was a much a tool and fact of life as the computer you are using to post nonsense on the bulletin boards here.
