So what? Nobody ever said it was Einstein that was performing this
air hockey gedanken in 1905. We have TV cameras now and that is what
matters.

Why not get completely stupid and point out there is no such thing as
an air hockey game where the pucks fly around at a substantial fraction
of the speed of light?

Just more CLAIMS and BELIEFS without explanation. I must do as you do or I won't believe as you believe. You are wasting my time.

Nowhere in there did he talk about his beliefs. He merely pointed out to you that if you want to understand the meaning of a word, you need to read up on its various meanings, and learn to use the correct meaning in the correct context.

Ed, this is why I'm suggesting you READ stuff to get those explanations
you are asking for here. You for some reason DO NOT WANT TO READ physics
instructional material. This I cannot help you with.

I don't care whether you believe what I believe or not. What seems to be
true is that you have arrived at your beliefs without learning anything
about the subject, which is foolish IN GENERAL.

A lie, as expected from relativistic trash.
GPS clocks indicate clearly t'=t with the
precision of the acceptable error, and all
your bunch of idiots can do about it is
waving arms and screaming "they are not
real!!!" or alike.

Odd wants to make sure you are "properly" indoctrinated, Ed. Just
thinking for yourself won't do!

PS. Good luck on getting a paper published that says all college
professors are teaching nonsense (even though they are). The important
thing is that is it AGREED UPON nonsense.

Thanks. I don't really state that they are teaching nonsense. In the paper I currently have out for peer review, I just cite evidence (from unimpeachable sources) that time dilation is a real, natural phenomenon, and then I describe the implications of the evidence.

In my paper on Einstein's Second Postulate to his Special Theory of Relativity, I provide scientific papers with EVIDENCE that the professors are wrong. And I describe ways to obtain addition EVIDENCE that the professors are wrong. I'm still working on that paper.

RoS is a bogus concept. It was invented to save SR. In real life, if two events happened simultaneously in my coordinate system they will happened simultaneously as view by other observers.....except that the time of simultaneity as viewed (predicted) by other observers will be different. Why? Because their clock seconds have different duration than my clock second.

Idiot, RoS was talked about at the beginning of the very first paper on
SR. There was no SR to "save" with RoS before this paper.

No. Not in real life. In your IDEA, this is what you say happens.
What happens in real life is determined by experiment. Your IDEA has not

What an idiot. You don't need an experiment in order for real life to
happen. lol, are you out of your mind, the real life being determined by
experiments?? You must be transcending from a parallel Universe.

The idea of your idiot guru was - and failed.
But you still can scream "NOT TRUE!!!" and

I think you are hearing (and not just from me) a lot of things you
really do not want to hear, even if they are true.

It's worth noticing that you have not even ACKNOWLEDGED that Einstein in
fact stated that a pair of clocks that are synchronized in one reference
frame will not be synchronized in another reference frame. Not even an
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT that this is part of Einstein's relativity. And
furthermore, you do not even ACKNOWLEDGE that its placement in the
original 1905 paper ahead of the discussion on time dilation may
indicate that this relativity of synchronization may have something to
do with time dilation.

All I hear you saying is "Not true! Not true! You're not making sense!
You're wasting my time!"

What does this say about you?

I was talking about one thing and the passage you cited was about length contraction where there are clocks at each end of a rod. I didn't feel like trying to relate what I said to that passage. It would just take too much of my time. It wasn't worth the effort.

No sir. You have only read the SINGLE SENTENCE I quoted you. The section
it is from (and it is short) does NOT have to do with length contraction
despite the mention of the rod. This is why I suggested you reread that
entire section (and it is short), so that you would understand how
fundamental this is to relativity.

FROM THERE, I can show you how this relates to time dilation and length
contraction.

No feeble excuses now. You're missing something important.

If you want me to say I was wrong, then I'll say I was probably wrong. I'm not really interested in arguing side issues about relativity. I'm only interested in time dilation.

Why talk about Time Dilation if you Do not understand the Mass / Energy Equivalence ?

I'm not interested in you being wrong. I'm interested in you taking the
acknowledgement that you were wrong to now correct path and investigate
(through better reading choices) what you have missed, to change
incorrect statements you have made to more correct statements, and to
even LEARN what relativity of simultaneity has to do with length
contraction and time dilation.

When you have digested that section and want to talk about what it
means, then I will be HAPPY to walk you through why this is important to
both time dilation and length contraction.

It's not a side issue. It is CENTRAL to understanding where time
dilation comes from.

Why does he had to acknowledge an untruth? According to the LT a pair of clocks synchronized in one frame are also synchronized in another frame.
