Suppose the bureaucrates from ISO get conscious
and return to old, day-related second.
What will happen then: your Shit will make a quiet
"pyf!" and vanish.

I suppose that's a fun fantasy for you to engage in. I also suppose it's extremely unlikely, for documented reasons.

Maybe it would be good to suppose what things would be like if the Piast dynasty came back to power. Then all those engineers and software models will make a quiet "pyf!" and vanish.

It's well documented you're a puffed, brainwashed moron
convinced about your incredible wisdom and awesome
power.
Anyway, it's just a gedanken. You can consider a twins
looking at a clock passing him with 0.99c, and I can
consider people not obeying your bunch of idiots.

The principles in gedankens lead to experimental observations to test them. Your fantasy about how much prettier life would be like for you if only the second was still tied to an earth's rotation is not going to be put to experimental test, is it? That's the difference between fantasy and science.

There are clocks, by the way, that travel at 0.99c with respect to the laboratory, and those have been used to test those gedankens.

There are people here whose sole message seems to be "Pthbpthbltpthttt!"

I suppose this is supposed to translate into "I don't like physics or
physicists. I think they are all nincompoops and should be banned. And
so I show you all my buttocks." But it's never really much more
articulate or creative than "Pthbpthbltpthttt!"

Of course, why they would spend extensive time in a physics discussion
board just to grunt such inarticulate noises is beyond me. It'd be just
like buying a ticket to a baseball game and then spending the whole game
booing both sides and the umpires.

I suppose this is supposed to translate into "I
adore Great Guru!! I adore The Shit!!!! Whoever
criticize it, is STUPID!!!!". But it's never really
much more articulate or creative than
"Pthbpthbltpthttt!"

No, not "whoever criticises it is stupid". Criticism is healthy and is
of course a part of science.

What you do is not any "criticism", it's just yelling invective.

Right. "Moron" and "Guru Shit" are not criticisms. They are inarticulate
grunting noises. The kind of noise one makes when one is about to vomit.
Vomiting is also not criticism.

Of course, it is, but not the criticism of obviously right Shit
of the Great Guru.

You can post invective all you want, it won't change anything.

You can yell and wave your arms all you want, it won't
change anything. Real clocks indicate t'=t, and they
will.

Repeating random words won't get you anywhere either.

They're not random. You're simply too stupid
to deal with them, so they look random to you.

A good joke. As expected from a puffed moron.

| Your fantasy about how much prettier life would be like for you if only
the second was still tied to an earth's rotation is not going to be put to
experimental test, is it?

Well, yes, it is.
In opposition to your observers falling into black holes
and others phantasmagories.
That's the difference between a thinking man and
an idiot pseudoscientist.

Best jokes are the true ones.

We'll see, won't we? Are you counting on the ISO seeing things your way before you die, or is this something that you're willing to wait centuries for?

As true, as the rest of your mumble, poor idiot.

Maybe. It's much, much, much more probable, than seeing observers
falling into a black hole. Not even talking of flatlanders.

Look, poor idiot, this is how "clocks" look like:

Somehow, they all have 12 or 24 hours cycle. Strange,
isn't it? Of course, the coincidence with a day cycle
is purely accidential. They obviously can't be still
tied to the earth's rotation. Relativistic moron and
his standard has forbidden, and he feels sooooooooooo
important...

The second was definitely originally defined by the
earth rotation, but this is no longer true. For example,
this year will have a "leap second" and December 31, 2016
will be 86,401 seconds long rather than the usual 86,400
(60*60*24) seconds. The second no longer accurately tracks
the earth's rotation.
