So I'm specifically referring to the Lagrange density equation and spelling out L is what we have to use for it because I haven't found a better ascii script for it, and the point is that what physically corresponds to adding a constant to the right of R is it actually corresponds to just giving it a cosmological constant. It doesn't actually correspond to adding other matter with a mass density to the stress-energy tensor side.

But since Koobee doesn't like that its stress-energy tensor isn't zero, I'll give you a couple of exact vacuum solution examples as well.
First vacuum case lets consider is Brinkmann's exact vacuum solution for pp gravitational radiation

This is for the stress-energy tensor of the electric field OUTSIDE of the charge, not inside the charge and again the only sense in which it is null there is that expressed in this one index up and the other down way, the sum of the diagonal terms is zero. Its not, nor is it supposed to be, a zero tensor.

The equations of geodesic motion you're thinking of are already at the link and are already in terms of the conserved energy parameter as well as the conserved angular momentum parameter generated from isometries in the metric corresponding to Killing vectors.
