qualifications, if any, he has.

It has one review at Amazon, by one Laurence Clark Crossen, which 
reads, in total, "I just bought it, but I already know it's good 
because I read a previous book by him. Thumbs up!"

That sums up Laurence Clark Crossen's approach: you don't bother to 
read the book that you are supposedly reviewing, but just base your 
"review" on your preconception. Likewise, to criticize scientific 
theories in this group it's not necessary to read what the authors 
wrote; you just reach an opinion on the basis of whether they agree 
with your prejudices.

With this silly post you reveal your ignorance of what scientists do. 
They don't take "one glimpse" at some new results before concluding 
that half a century of analysis is wrong. They study the new results in 
depth and devise experiments to reveal whether they are correct, and if 
so they work out how they can be explained.
