What makes you think I'd work for you, regardless of the pay? BTW, relativity had no import in the work I did. My employers were happy with me. I could not have asked for better. Please consider how small a role relativity -lays in most of the world's active business. Heck, I never heard the word at work, ever. And I doubt it ever crossed the minds of the people I worked with and for.

There is a readily available video on YouTube of a Russian propagandist who left Russia decades ago explaining ideological subversion of a nation. A new generation is indoctrinated and they will never be dissuaded. Similarly, in science people are practically indoctrinated as we can tell from the well-known saying that one often has to wait for the current generation to die off. As a consultant what would you recommend be done? Should I take your advice and try to break their stranglehold or wait for them to die off?

A new generation is indoctrinated and they will never be dissuaded. Similarly, in science people are practically indoctrinated as we can tell from the well-known saying that one often has to wait for the current generation to die off. As a consultant what would you recommend be done? Should I take your advice and try to break their stranglehold or wait for them to die off? There is an ancient adage that tells us "we have to outlive our teachers" in order to make progress. As a former consultant I'll tell you what I always said that was always well received. There are no firm and fast rules. Do whatever you think is right. Believe it or not, that garnered a very nice paycheck. YMMV P.S. I never gave much stock to propaganda, though to be completely honest I participated occasionally in creating some. No different from what so many are doing here. The only difference was a paycheck.

You can use a consultant in the fields of astronomy/cosmology to answer this simple question: Why a 1897 Newcomb's calculation of missing 43"/century in Mercury's perihelion advance, which seemed to be reasonable in 1915, was certified by Clemence in 1947, and STILL is being used as the landmark of GR 127 years after, when: 1) Masses of known planets had a significant difference with modern values. For instance, the mass of Mercury was estimated as being 2/3 of current value, with an error of +/- 50%!. NOTE: Newcomb used the current value PLUS 50% MORE MASS in 1895. https://adsabs.harvard.edu/full/1980QJRAS..21..400L 2) When the size and mass of the Milky Way was unknown, when Pluto was discovered ob Feb. 1930, and the main efforts to determine solar oblateness were done after 1917. All these unknowns greatly decrement the missing value for Mercury, well below 43", as the total contributions increased above 530" for a calculated total of 573" +/- 2" (Clemence, 1947). 3) What is the deal with the 43"/cy erroneously calculated by Einstein in his 1915 paper? Why is it sacred? His equation (13) ε = + 3π α/[a (1 – e²)] , with α = 2GM/c², contains an error of +1% with respect to 2023 values. The total error, as of today calculations, exceed +0.43" + 0.5" > 0.93"/century. So, 43" are really lower than 42.1". And still, this value IS CALCULATED, not MEASURED. Maybe, a good consultant can earn his money if honest. Pay even more money if he dares to publish his research.

So, 43" are really lower than 42.1". oooh, you found a total error of more than 2%! The magical 43"/century doesn't bring the total predicted value difference to exactly 0! Must be because the error in the mass estimates of planets, Pluto and the Milky Way itself! Hint: If Newtonian mechanics was sufficient by itself, there would be no 43"/century difference, nor a 42.1"/century difference, it would be 0"!

Shill! Newtonian precession exists on every planet in the Solar System, and is known with good accuracy! It's like what happens with your head spinning along with your body axis when you come out of the "happy bar", heavily drunk. I think that the missing factor in the Mercury's calculation of its precession is due to the UNKNOWN behavior of the layered composition of matter within the Sun, as close to Mercury as you're from the door of the "happy bar", when you start spinning being drunk at the gate: "What to do? Go home or take another? Stop the world! Who in the hell know what's going on into your head, at those moments in the dawn?

Newtonian precession exists on every planet in the Solar System, and is known with good accuracy! That's right! Once you add up all the Newtonian causes of precession on Mercury and subtract it from the observed value, there's a difference of 43"/century. Or perhaps 42.1"/century, if your claim can be trusted (a VERY questionable claim) > I think that the missing factor in the Mercury's calculation of its precession is due to the UNKNOWN behavior of the > layered composition of matter within the Sun, Nobody cares what you think. Real scientists think the difference is due to GR's effect on the orbital precession. Since GR is 100+ year old with no contradictions, GR is essentially settled science to scientists, while the whining crackpots such as yourself are ignored.
