If your understand of geometry is so lacking that you can't see it already, then there's no way I can ever convince you. Also, given that this thread related to the trajectory of Apollo 11, I've already explained that it can be calculated by reference to measurements performed of the trajectories of earlier craft that went to the Moon. Your original thesis relating to the requirement for an accurate value for G is fundamentally flawed. If you still don't get that, then there's I really don't know how else to explain it to you. Sylvia.

Sylvia, Feb. 11 2017 "I don't have access to the relevant data." If you do not have access to the relevant data, how did you obtain the value of r1 = 4,670 km. Thank you. Sincerely Yours, Ben

Thank you. I said it was known to be that. It's given in the Wikipedia article. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barycenter Sylvia

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barycenter This method requires the mass of the earth and the moon. The mass of the earth is determine using F = ma and F = G m1m2/r^2 but as previously stated the value of G determined by Cavendish's experiment is physically invalid.
