If there a creatures there living in this redshifted environment, they would not see it that way, but would ascribe the difference to us. To synchronise clocks would simply not work, since the 'speed of time' is different. Redshifted by a factor of 3600 is certainly a little much, but could explain the effect. So what takes 1 second in our environment would take one second there, too. But we would experience that world as in extreme slow motion. So something here needing one second would take an hour of our clocks, if observed there. Everything is also larger by that same factor. Blueshifted is also possible. Within such a world everything is smaller and moves faster. Synchronisation would now require to bring the worlds into a relative standstill (neither red- nor blue-shifted). So the length of one second here is one second there and things have equivalent size. Then the axis of time of either world are parallel. But this would require, that they would point into opposite directions, since if the are parallel and point into the same direction, we cannot communicate without delay. This is so, because signals are only transmitted into the positive direction of local time and along the associated light cone. The is possible with delay. The signal follows then a zig-zag line, if the remote observer replies instantaneously. If now the two observers send signals just in the middle of the quiet intervals, these signals would reach the other side at the time they send a signal. If this is done carefully, they can figure out a time, which is simultaneous to both. TH

But in fact the stars of our own home galaxy rotate, too, around the centre of the galaxy. So we have three moving realms: - planet Earth twists around its axis - and moves around the sun (like all the other planets) - also the solar systems in our galaxy move around the galactic centre Small items seem to rotate faster. So possibly the distance covered multiplied by the frequency are a constant. But actually we could assume the same effect at many more levels and scales much smaller than a human being and on scales even larger than galaxies. In EVERY case of such a dependence, there is either a) a specific locally-inertial frame in which the simultaneity is required, or b) the simultaneity is required at a single location (for which the simultaneity is not frame dependent). If you say RoS can be tested show us how. Imagine if the bug had a video camera focused on the rivet head/entrance to the hole, broadcasting to an external recorder. Imagine that the rivet also carried a video camera, focused on the bug and the hole wall, also broadcasting to an external recorder. We compare the videos after the event. If the bug's video shows the head hitting the wall before the bug (and its camera) are obliterated, and the rivet's video shows the bug being squished before the head hits the wall, we have proof of the RoS. This is the test.
