Have you ever sat in a plane or shared a restaurant with a screaming baby?

But the kid can't help it--he doesn't know any better. It's his parents
that deserve to go to Hell.

I think one function of a belief in an interfering god and a hell is
that faith that the bastards will go there gives enough solace that we
don't just kill the bastards ourselves.

You keep using this word. I think it does not mean what you think it
means.

I don't see how a God of love would take that as worthy of death, when
later he is said to have inspired Paul to write:

1 Corinthians 13:4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth
not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up.

I'm visualizing a sea of bobbing babies and puppies bouncing off the
hull of this giant ship drifting through the floodwaters.

In other words, WTF are you talking about? There was supposedly a
deliberately caused flood that wiped out all but eight adult people
and two dogs. But now you say that all the other babies and baby dogs
survived, too. It's an absurd statement.

saved.
