The group looks very noisy. Worse than it ever did. I have KFd Starmaker.Thousands of ridiculous irrelevant spam postings gone in a flash. Finally some sanity can be tracked through the postings and topic structure of the group. Maybe it's possible to establish a routine kill file ledger - something that gets posted once a week ? This will allow a non-moderated group to self moderate to some degree and serve as a warning to others and newcomers about who exactly to lookout and killfile for. I would like to make a point; that posters of the kind are not merely mentally debilitating to themselves, they have the potential to be mentally debilitating to those who engage with, consume/read their material. For clarity; this is not an attack on the character of such mentioned posters, but as a warning to those (particularly newcomers who are unable to differentiate between what is real and valid and relevant - and what is not). With that said, What is the consensus on the following poster ? Maciej Woźniak <mlwozniak@wp.pl> He appears to at least be on topic, but seems stuck on the definition of clocks; precisely how the electrodynamics between clocks in their respective frames is what relativity models. Has he offered anything genuinely novel in this regard - asides from the desire to have clocks flying around while being non-synchronized ? btw. What happened to Pentcho Valev ? Did he eventually give in ? -y

And that seems important to you - because...? Has he offered anything > genuinely novel in this regard - asides from the desire to have clocks > flying around while being non-synchronized ? MY desire? It's actually your moronic religion trying to enforce that with the help of your SI idiocy - for the sake of some moronic symmetry of your precious little formulas. With no success, of course. Clocks keep ignoring your SI and being synchronized - indicating t'=t like always. Common sense has been warning your idiot guru.

Evey paper you post here will be torn to shreads. Every idea even if it's a sentence long will be torn to shreds. Look at that stupid person with Pointed Ears.. he comes from antiquated times in Usenet where there used to be hundreds and humdreds of free newsservers... now there is only only ONE free newsserver. Wake up stupid. This is a different world Don't you know who are messing with? https://x.com/Starmaker111/status/2003921143380824405/photo/1 Didn't you get the memo, I own this newsgroup! -- The Starmaker -- To question the unquestionable, ask the unaskable, to think the unthinkable, mention the unmentionable, say the unsayable, and challenge the unchallengeable.

If I would still use a newsreader capable of using regular expressions for filtering, your postings would be automatically scored down merely because there is no two-part real name. Because experience tells me (and others) that people who post (in science groups) under (one-part) pseudonym are likely to post nonsense and/or to be trolls. > The group looks very noisy. Worse than it ever did. Not to me. The only noise I still see here is that by the 'nym-shifting troll because they cannot be killfiled (they are changing pseudodynms and "addresses" on a daily basis, which is the maliciousness of it; some of their providers have been responsive, but then they merely switch providers). They have a distinctly ridiculous posting style, though, so maybe an "AI" could be trained and used to recognize them. > I have KFd Starmaker. It is pointless to correct/refute them, though. First of all, that is what they want. Second, those who do not have the faculty to recognize that delusional pseudoscientific trolling/nonsense for what it is *and* do not question it are hopeless cases anyway. If they /do/ question it in a posting, a correction/clarification/warning can still be posted as a follow-up. But the record shows that it is a waste of time to post corrections/rebuttals to that in advance in the dim hope that someone will read them and appreciate them. > What is the consensus on the following poster ? > > Maciej Woźniak <mlwozniak@wp.pl> Hopeless crackpot regarding relativity ==> waste of time ==> killfiled. > btw. Good. Oh, that poor piece of shit is opening its muzzle again, and again is pretending to know something. So, trll me, poor piece of shit, how is "select now()::interval" in sql? I mean - in sql, not in sql_by_some_idiot.

Thomas 'PointedEars' Lahn wrote: > Y wrote: >> btw. What happened to Pentcho Valev ? Did he eventually give in ? > > I do not know because I have him killfiled, too. Due to my native language German, I used a word order that can be misunderstood: "to have someone [present participle]" means "to have [present particle] done to someone by someone else"; for example, the wording "the king had him hanged" means "the king gave an order that he should be hanged and this order was executed by the executioner". But what I meant is "*I* have killfiled him, too." instead, meaning that I have added him (i.e. rules that are suitable to recognize his postings) to my killfile.
