He was trained that way and it's indoctrinated in his being. IMHO the current Putin is far different than the Putin during the first Trump term. Back then Trump was an unknown and thus Putin tread lightly as he studied Trump. During the Biden administration, Putin continued to study Trump's behavior and currently I believe he has a very good assessment of how Trump will react to various situations. (And FAR more educated about world events than any Americans, they were always so refreshing to converse with) I was talking with one of them a couple months ago, he still calls me to check in every few months. Anyway, we were talking about Putin and Russia in Africa, and he said it will “NEVER HAPPEN” in Ghana. He said they’re far too smart and democratic there to ‘fall for’ Putin. I was skeptical.
