I did, until I saw a picture of Richard Feynman playing the bongos.

Everyone has seen that. Well, maybe not all the morons who post here,
but everyone familiar with his Lectures on Physics has seen it.

When I spent eight months in Chile in 1985–1986 most of my wife's books
in her mother's house were in Spanish -- which I could read if
necessary, but not usually for pleasure*. Feynman's Lectures on Physics
were among the few books in English that she had, and I spent a lot of
the eight months reading and re-reading them.

*The only book in Spanish I can remember reading all the way through
was Manuel Puig's El beso de la mujer araña. Richard Hertz should
approve of that choice, as Puig was Argentinian. I learned about how
"vos" is used. (It isn't used in Chile, but it's prominent in
Argentinian and Uruguayan speech.)
