but E does not represent the energy of a photon..only it's radiation. And you cannot have radiation without mass.




E equals L in Einstein't mind...and L stands for Radiation. 


I mean, the big bang itself stands for energy creating mass...otherwise you would not be here.

“Photons” is a plural form, so proper English would be “Photons come…”.

Photons do not only come from radioactive materials.  Photons are everywhere
since the beginning of time, and are absorbed and produced in a number of
processes.

Radioactivity is a very special phenomenon with nuclei of elements that does
not even need to include photons/electromagnetic radiation.  Not all kinds
of radioactive decay produce gamma radiation.
