Does space become less dense as it expands as might be expected? So far as I know there is no evidence of this. Presumably the measure of the 'density' of space could be considered the value of the ZPE of the quantum vacuum and presumably that's constant throughout the universe.

Thus we could say that as space expands its density is maintained by the appearance disappearance of the same number of virtual particles to maintain a constant ZPE per unit volume.

It this is true then space can't be considered a physical medium but rather just the way measurements work. This is what I suggest in my new book Universal Reality 2.0 in the sections on Dark Energy and the Computational Universe.

The suggestion is that what we think of as dimensional spacetime is just the internal consistency among the dimensional relationships among all elementary particles produced by the conservation of energy in their interactions.

Thus particle interactions occur in a non-dimensional computational space, and it's human brains that project the individual dimensional relations of their sensory observations into the semblance of a 4-dimensional spacetime. This is analogous to how virtual reality data exists as numbers in the computational space of controller memory but is projected into a moving 3D universe in the headset.

This insight opens the way to the unification of relativity and quantum theory because their apparent incompatibility lies in the different way they conceive of spacetime as a preexisting container within which events occur. In quantum theory this pre-existing spacetime container is unaffected by its contents, but in relativity the contents affect the shape of the container. In this lies the basis of their apparent incompatibility. But a spacetime that is computed by particle interactions can be compatible with both relativity and quantum theory as I explain in my book.

The same insight, that particle interactions create spacetime, also immediately resolves all quantum paradoxes because quantum phenomena are paradoxical only with respect to a fixed pre-existing spacetime which no longer exists.

This is all explained in detail in my new book Universal Reality 2.0 available under my name on Amazon.

PS: Another measure of the density of spacetime is of course its c valued velocity density, meaning that every point in spacetime is characterized by a total spatial + time velocity equal to c. And presumably the value of c is constant throughout the universe like the ZPE value. Another indication that the density of space is maintained even as it expands.

Now since both the ZPE and c are measures of the density of spacetime there is likely some relationship among the values of ZPE and c at the level of the complete fine tuning.

This is also explained in my book...

Copeland Interpretation Non-Sense !!!

The human mind only interprets Data received about a 4D universe.

The mind does Nothing To the universe.

Clearly Our universe is comprised of the convolutions of the event horizon of a black hole.

((6.6740800122e-11)/2 (newtons / (meters^2))) / (3.71295775e-28 (kg / (meter^3))))^0.5 = 299792458 m/s

There is no Fancy Mental trickery going on.

Just cold hard physics.

Just simple physics of bulk Modulus & wave speed of a perfect Fluid Medium.

David,

You misunderstand what I'm saying.

Sure I agree "the mind does nothing to the universe". I never implied it did. What I'm saying is that the universe itself actually IS non-dimensional. It exists in computational space as numbers and logical relationships like a virtual reality program does in computer memory. And the human brain acts as a virtual reality headset to project those numbers into the semblance of a dimensional world inside the brain. That simulated world exists ONLY in our own heads not in the actual external universe, which is just numbers and logical relationships in computational space just like a computer memory is.

This should be easy to understand if you understand how virtual reality devices work.

Edgar

No.... if someone drops a brick on your head from the 15 floor, it will cave in your skull.
It is not a simulation.
It is the universe Simulating itself.

The "emerging present moment in time" is the cusp of the spatial horizon of the black hole our universe is a part of.

The "Horizon of Now" is where "reality" emerges from.

Each new coming emerging Second per Second is being " FORCE INTO THE PRESENT" by rising Entropy of the universe as a whole, extruded out from the Spatial Horizon.

I think you are having a Brain Fart.

I think you are just replacing standard mainstream physics Jargon with your own wording.

4D Spatio Temporal reality can be described by Mathematical computations, but it is not "purely mathematical computation".

The 3D spatial Volume is real & not a simulation... until it no longer exists.

You are allowing yourself to slip into computational Mysticism

Quantum Physics is complex Hoop jumping to avoid facing the fact the universe is an entangled Black Hole.
