What is it with NASA, the price of McDonalds chicken nuggets went up????

How about aliens from other planets are planning to attack us?

How about...

Anybody got any ideas How To terrify the planet earth??? The science fiction department have run out of ideas...

Humanity could face one less doomsday scenario if NASA has its way.
On Friday, the space agency announced plans to redirect the course of a
small asteroid approaching Earth,
as part of the Double Asteroid Redirection Test (DART), according to a
NASA press release.
The release notes that asteroids hit Earth nearly every day, but most
are small enough to burn up in the atmosphere.

But what about NASA and the kidnapped children on Mars????

Okay, lets suppose it ain't true, that NASA is not kidnapping children on Mars, is it a movie then...coming out soon? a science fiction book??

Sounds too true to be good.

Nasa is a chicken, afraid putting men on Moon, and bring them safely back
to Earth. Not because is easy. They already have ALL the KNOW-HOW they
need. If they doesn't, then I smell a rat, which is very fishy. Just to
say the least.

You go to the Moon.

(no air, no water, no food, no cosmic ray protection, no laundry.)

You get to stay inside a CAN for your entire time.

You gotta take EVERYTHING WITH YOU.

a good place for Starfarter.

Air can be produced, e.g. by plants, like on the ISS.

There is strong evidence to suggest that there is water on the Moon all over
the place, in minerals and as pellets and sheets of water ice (likely
brought in by meteoroid and asteroid impacts).

Space suits already have limited cosmic ray protection. Space suits that
are now being developed for Mars will work fine on the Moon, too, with minor
modifications.

Laundry is not a problem once you have air and water, however it will be
more efficient to wear hydrophobic clothes that makes laundry unnecessary;
there are already examples of that in serial production, like t-shirts that
cannot get dirty.

> You get to stay inside a CAN for your entire time.

That was not true then (where do you think do the Moon rocks on Earth come
from?) and is certainly not true now.

Besides, if you build a moon-dome to live in, you can extend that dome over
time.

> You gotta take EVERYTHING WITH YOU.

No, there are natural resources there that can be used. For example, if the
moonship had a fusion reactor, you could fuel it with the helium-3 that you
mine there. The reactor could power machines like 3D printers. Printed
parts can be used to build small machines. Small machines can be used to
build bigger machines. This is already being tested, on Earth, right now.
