Evil *does not* exist. Point to me, where is this evil? Show me where it is at? I want to see what it looks like. Where is it? If it is invisible, then tell me where is it standing at, or where is it hiding? Is it like some kind of invisible force? I'm looking around at work to see if I can find this evil. Is it in my pencil? Is it contained inside the pencil? How about the office chair? Is it in there somewhere? How about the water cooler? Maybe it's in the water! What about the paper cups? How about the picture on the wall? How about my paperweight? You guys, look around where you are right now, maybe you're at work... let me know if you find any of this evil. I'm looking but I don't seem to find any.. Wait a minute, my stapler! It looks Evil!!! Sorry, I was just imagaining things...it's just a stapler. Maybe I'll go outside and see if I can find any of this thing called evil... Okay, I went out to lunch...couldn't find anything evil outside. The lettuce and tomatoes and the Dr. Pepper soda doesn't seem to contain any evil I don't know where else to look! Evil *does not* exist. Where is it? Point to me, where is this evil? Show me where it is at? I want to see what it looks like. Where is it? If it is invisible, then tell me where is it standing at, or where is it hiding?

There's your problem right there, the ultimate surrender to authority, bad enough in the real world, but tragic in fiction-land. When you read from many sources, with different points of view, you work through all that information and come up with a decision based on your own work. Nobody but a lazy asshole refuses to do the work and just throws away that mind that makes him human and chooses goddidit. > "The counsel of the Lord standeth forever, the thoughts of his heart to > all generations" "The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom" The fear of God is a sick delusion that forces you to waste way too much of your all-too-short life. And it leaves you prey to fear-mongering from politicians and the media. Hmmm, maybe that's why I've never fallen prey to the chicken hawks and the bigots trying to get me to waste my time worrying about things that are exceedingly rare so I would ignore the serious and immediate dangers--I had zero brainwashing in any religion. And a fascination for mythology, which is all I saw the Abrahamic religions as or Hinduism or any of the myths. And as I got older I grew to love discovering the root stories that eventually got written down as the myth. > "God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that > whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life" > (John 3 KJV) What does that quote have to do with the real world? > TAKE A BREAK "Come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I > will give you rest. So what's the purpose of your "all-too-short life"? You have made a value judgment but what are the values? > I had zero brainwashing in any religion. You seem to have been brainwashed (or brainwashed yourself) in the religion of atheism, which is nothing but a belief system, the same as religious thought. Gary
