This is where you got it wrong. It is not only an appearance, since all 
interrelations are both as much physical as they can get. There is no 
speed higher than c to contradict that.

It wasn't.  Whereas observations depend on the frame
of  reference  whence  they are made, they cannot be
identified with objective  reality,  which  is  one.
But  being  *determined*  by the frame of reference,
they cannot be called subjective either.  Therefore,
they  are different but compatible views on the same
objective reality.
