Much more productive and cost-effective

Not exactly the words I'd use. You know they not only still sell rocket
motors but also make great film, CRTs, and tubes for Guitar amps.

I wonder if the ISS has a phone with a Dial on the front?

The 'nym-shifting troll must have been hibernating for more than two decades
before they started haunting these physics newsgroups.

It *was* _СССР_ (Союз Советских Социалистических Республик “Union of the
Soviet Socialist Republics”, informally Soviet Union, abbreviated SU); not
CCCP. If one is using foreign abbreviations, one has to use the foreign
alphabet to get it right.

It *was*, because the SU does not exist anymore since 1991 (CE). One of its
successor states, which is informally called Russia now, is the Russian
Federation (Российская Федерация).

BTW, the “Soyuz” (Союз “Union”) spacecraft that astronauts/cosmonauts are
using to get to the ISS was named for the SU which had built it as part of
their space program in the 1960s.

They still are using those CCCP spacesuits. As different, those are made
to last.

You seems unprepared, uninformed and unupgraded.

You have no clue what you are talking about. Probably someone has told you
this before.

YGCIB. Your dictionary, too.

Now FOAD.

It's good for foes to have at least one common interest. Funny that Bush wants his party to be "of science". We already share much science with Russia.

Their space-helmets are not on. A space-helmet is part of a space-suit.

Seemingly you.
