No, Ralph, they are not the same at all. LET explicitly uses an aether,
for one, while SR explicitly excludes the aether. That by itself is a
rather big difference, Ralph.

They are not Lorentz's conclusions, Ralph. Einstein's postulates are
merely the results of observations and experiments.  The laws of physics
were observed as not depending on where you are or how fast you are moving
inertially, and every experiment, even back then, shows the speed of light
is always a constant (plus Maxwell's Equations predict that very same
constant)
