I disagree that it is irrelevant. I think you misunderstand the role of 
experiment in physics.

The experiment is NOT based on "c+v and c-v logic" or "c" logic. The 
experiment can deal with BOTH possibilities and distinguish between the 
two, providing an answer for BOTH. This is what you do not seem to see.
