Yes, you ran it backwards so it only shows how the speed of light is c in
all frames given the second postulate, it's not actually proof of the second
postulate.  But note that you were able to write that (and Einstein write
the forward version) with no mention of any aether, which was my point.
Einstein was correct when he stated the aether was unnecessary.  So your
claim of "The cause of Einstein's postulated source independence was quite
clearly the aether of Lorentz" is quite clearly false.  The cause is just
math.
