That link is from a kook site. Run, don't walk, away from it if
you intend to properly learn the ideas of standard physics.

Yes, quite a bit. But remember that quantum theory, in this case
relativistic quantum theory given by the Dirac equation, is by its
nature based on abstract mathematics and therefore often not very
amenable to prose descriptions. Especially when people try too hard
to use "classical thinking" along with non-mathematical prose, they
end up stating nonsense when trying to explain the quantum world.
Leonard Susskind has wonderful videos explaining physics concepts
at what he calls the "theoretical minimum", using the least amount
of mathematics he deems appropriate. The first hour of the video
linked below culminates in a description of how, within the context
of the Dirac equation, a quantum superposition of massless states
moving in opposite directions produces a massive fermion at rest.

Watching the preceding videos in the series might be a good idea.
And it definitely is mainstream physics, although simplified in
many ways from the full-blown gory mathematical details that
students would learn in university level quantum field courses.
