This assumes, that Minkowskian spacetime is real and matter is internal structure of this 'thing'. The concept is rather straight forward and works quite well. You only need a few assumptions, which are in fact unusual. But I have written kind of book about it: https://docs.google.com/present/view?id=dd8jz2tx_3gfzvqgd6 This concept does in fact require spacetime as real (of course!). So I have not been indoctrinated to think that's real, but that was my own idea. TH
