In case of future space-travel to destinations outside our solar system, this could eventually change. But for the near future we don't synchronise remote clocks. It would be useless anyhow, since what is expected to change is the 'tick-rate' (or the 'speed of time') and that is hard to compensate by synchronisation. TH
