If you want to create something useful by means of exchange of ideas, 
than it would be useful to stick to the subject and try to understand, 
what the other participants in such a discussion say.

If people do not want to reply or do not want to follow the subject of a 
discussion, than happens actually nothing. Communication is cancelled 
and that's it.
